Can the Bamboo Slats come in other lengths?

No, these are the longest lengths we currently have.

How do I install the Bamboo Slats?

The best way would be to pre-drill a hole in the node (thickest part of bamboo) and then screw it on to your structure. Wood putty mixed with a little of the bamboo saw dust works well to hide the screw. We have also used a pneumatic nail gun and shot through the nodes.

Can the Bamboo Slats be stained?

Yes, by using a wood stain. We found that if you start out with the mahogany Bamboo Slats and stain it with the color “Jacobean” (Home Depot) it will give a rich walnut / mahogany color as shown in the picture on this page.
