At last, the most authentic looking thatch has
arrived – Fiber Thatch. After many years of trial and error we have
perfected the synthetic thatch to imitate our natural version. Fiber
Thatch comes in two styles:
Description of Fiber Thatch - Layered
The Fiber Thatch – Layered Panel is made up of
hundreds of simulated pvc thatch reeds, all cut to the same lengths
and bound by a flexible urethane strip. When installed on a sub-roof
or umbrella frame, the thatch panels overlap to give a layered or
stepped appearance opposed to the smooth traditional thatch.
The advantage of Fiber Thatch is that it looks so
real, like the traditional reed thatch, but eliminates the
weathering and aging effects of natural thatch. Fiber Thatch is UV
protected and pre-fire retardant. It can be used for interior or
exterior applications.
