butted side-by-side, are glued onto a masonite board. Originally created
to simulate the underside of a traditional thatched roof, these boards
are now often used to add atmosphere to tropical or African settings.

Reed Ceiling Board comes as in 4mm thick x 4' high x
8' wide sheets with reeds that run down on the 4' length.

Color varies in shades of tan, green and beige with
some dark brown mottling.

This decorative board has the option to be supplied
pre-fire retardant.
Applications of Reed Ceiling Board:

Reed Ceiling Board is best used for
interior applications, or semi sheltered exterior applications.

It's prime function is a ceiling treatment
trimmed in stained eucalyptus poles (traditional African thatch roofing),
but it can also be used as a wainscots trimmed off with a bamboo chair
rail or eucalyptus, door and ceiling coverings, cupboard and cabinet
fronts, or counter tops set in clear resin.

This product is not suitable for high traffic
areas.

Reed Ceiling Board is best installed by pre-drilling and
screwing to the structure.

side by side?:
Cover the seams with either a stained or natural eucalyptus

Split and Finished Solid
Bamboo or one of the
Bamboo Moldings.
